Fact Fanatics

Mrs Brown is once again running the 'Facts Fanatics Competition'.  If you enter the competition you will be given one minute to correctly answer as many maths facts as you can.  There will be a winner for each year level.  If you want to get a head start on the learning you can click on this link –
Click on 5 – Mixed Basic facts 100
Competitors will be asked to give their names to Mrs. Brown next term.
You don't have to know them all but can choose to enter and quickly find the facts you know.

Farewell Mr. Nisbet!

Thanks you for teaching us music and being our teacher some days this year.  Konini kids are lucky to have you.

July Calendar

What makes aircraft fly?

We learnt about the forces of lift, thrust, weight and drag and how they are used to help airplanes fly. We created flying objects and used our breath as the thrust.

We watched these videos to help us understand the forces of thrust, lift, weight and drag.
